Azər Ramizoğlu :Beynəlxalq ictimaiyyət də facebookda gedən informasiyanı izləyir

“ Oyan" hərəkatı –nın rəhbərlərinden Ataxan Abılov facebook məhbusu Fuad Qəhrəmanlının bu sosial şəbəkədə yazdığı statusa görə həbs edildiyi barədə facebookun təsisçisi Mark Zuckerbergə müraciət göndərib.

Azər Ramizoğlu bildirib ki, Mark Zuckerberg,Facebookun yaradıcısı kimi bu şəbəkədəkı qanuni fəaliyyətinə görə cəzalanan hər bir insana görə mənəvi məsuliyyət daşıyır və özü də bildirmişdir kı,belə hal baş verərsə həmən insanın hüquqlarını qoruyacağ. Bu məqsədlə bizlər bu konpaniyaya qoşulub müraciyyətlərin kütləvi xarakterli olmasına nail olsaq nəticənin olmasına ümüd edirik. I am writing on behalf of the citizens of Azerbaijan regarding the political prisoner Fuad Gahramanly who was arrested because of his facebook post in Azerbaijan and sentenced to 10 years. Mr. Gahramanly is the deputy head of the political party - National Front who has spent his entire life in the struggle for democracy in Azerbaijan where the democratic values have been constantly undermined by the authoritarian regime of this country. He has been recognized as a political prisoner by US State Department and leading international organizations such as Amnesty International. He is a father of two beautiful girls waiting for their father with the hope that he would come home very soon.
Azerbaijan is a small country located between Iran and Russia. In this country, people do believe in the importance of democratic values for the development and wellbeing of the citizens. This is the main reason why we do stand firm against authoritarianism and the violation of human rights. In this country, more than 160 political prisoners exist because of their critical views to the regime. Taking into account the social responsibility that you promised to take as a CEO of leading social network company, we would like kindly to ask for your reaction to this case, as a result, Mr. Gahramanly will feel that he has not been abandoned. It should be mentioned that he is the only political prisoner that was arrested because of facebook.
Democracy, human rights, and freedom cannot be limited within the borders of one country. These are universal values for which have to fight shoulder by shoulder regardless of our position and location.
